While poultry are among the most economically important livestock species, they remain highly
susceptible to a wide range of viral infections such as Newcastle Disease Virus (NDV), Infectious
Bursal Disease Virus (IBDV), and Avian Influenza Virus (AIV), which cause severe morbidity,
mortality, and productivity loss across commercial farms. These viruses exhibit significant
genetic variability among strains, posing major challenges for the development of broad-
spectrum antiviral solutions or long-lasting vaccine protection. Adding to the complexity, birds
rely primarily on innate immune responses in the early stages of infection, providing only
limited and transient defense against rapidly mutating viral pathogens.
Conventional control measures—particularly vaccination and oral administration of antiviral or
immune-modulating agents—are often constrained by antigenic drift, reduced efficacy under
field conditions, and high operational costs associated with mass administration.
These challenges highlight the urgent need for a cost-effective, thermally stable, and scalable
antiviral solution that can be easily applied through drinking water or feed across diverse
    poultry species.
PioKil-V has been specifically formulated to address this need, offering a broad-spectrum
antiviral approach for the prevention and control of common poultry viral infections such as
NDV, IBDV, and AIV, while enhancing overall flock health and productivity.
